Glossary

Landing Page = A Landing Page is a special type of sales or conversion page specifically designed to be relevant to the Facebook ads. For example, if you’re a Realtor and you’re advertising one of your properties, a Landing Page should be a page devoted to that specific property, and it should have means of contacting you throughout the page (forms, ph#).

AdSpend = the actual advertising budget you designate on Facebook. Our package prices are for the creation of the ads & assets, and the target audiences, and managing the ads. Not for running the ads themselves. Running the ads requires a daily budget you specify, and it is paid directly to Facebook.

Responsive = this means the web page or landing page changes its sizing and stacking in order to look good on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices inasmuch as is possible.

Domain, Hosting = a domain is like an “address” where a house is located (a house, symbolizing a website). These typically are about $15/year. Hosting is monthly fee and it’s similar to a monthly lease where your “house” (aka website) is located. This is typically $11.99/mo but billed annually or semi-annually in chunks. We recommend using our hosting specifically due to its reliability AND our familiarity with it (it lowers labor costs for you), AND its 24/7 support, which many other hosting plans do not provide.

FTP Access = FTP is short for “file transfer protocol”, but basically it is a way for us to be able to access your website directly to install a snippet of tracking code for Facebook, called a “Facebook Pixel.” FTP access also enables us to upload your Landing Page if you have opted for the Gold Package.

Facebook Tracking Pixel = This is a special snippet of code created by facebook and put on your site that enables Facebook to give you accurate data as far as PageVisits and other performance data.

1 Landing page will be built in WordPress and client is to provide domain, hosting & ftp access. If client does not have these already, add $160 to the price, which covers 1 year of both domain and hosting. The length of the Landing Page will not exceed 5,000px height at desktop size. Includes integration of the Facebook tracking pixel, appropriate contact forms, functional plugins, graphic caching and compression, and automatic backups. The term “responsive” means that it adapts its size/stacking to desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

2 We estimate up to 15 ads with the theory that we are always running 3 ads at a time over the course of 4.2 weeks in a month. The reason for running 3 ads per week is to always be testing the winners and refining the target audience & messaging at all times. Since the minimum # of ads running at any given time will be three, we recommend the minimum ad-spend for the month to be $450 or $15/day ($5/day @ each ad)

3 A free MailChimp account will be established on behalf of the client and connected to the Landing Page via the Divi Plugin Bloom. This enables the website to collect email addresses from people who fill in the fly-in form. If the client already has aWeber or Constant Contact and wishes to use them instead, we can integrate with those when provided the logins (so we can retrieve the API)

4 We will be monitoring the performance of the running ads and any notifications from Facebook at least 3x per week throughout the month, in order to adjust targeting, or budget, or creative content, or to pass the review process in case Facebook does not approve the ad initially

5 At the end of the month, we provide the performance analytics & charts and screenshots of the ads we ran so you can see the performance. At our discretion, we may also provide this data every week if we want to point out performance points. It’s important to know that you, as a client and as owner of the Facebook Business Manager Account, will have access 24/7 to all the data and you do not have to wait until the end of the month to see it. The Facebook Ads Manager interface provides wonderful informational blurbs to explain each piece of data you are looking at, so there is no confusion.

6 If you already have an existing Landing Page to drive traffic to, or you only want to drive traffic to your existing website, the Silver Package (or Bronze) may be for you. We will need to implement the Facebook Tracking Pixel though, so you must provide ftp access or login access to the backend of your existing website. We work best with WordPress or traditional html websites. We may not be able to do this with specialty-sites like Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, or proprietary websites that often come from real estate industry specialty-site providers and the like. Many times, those providers do have ways to enter the tracking pixel code, so it’s best that you contact their Support and find out where to input the tracking pixel code yourself and we will give it to you to do so.

7 We estimate up to 10 ads with the theory that we are always running 2 ads at a time over the course of 4.2 weeks in a month. The reason for running 2 ads per week is to always be testing the winners and refining the target audience & messaging at all times. Since the minimum # of ads running at any given time will be two, we recommend the minimum ad-spend for the month to be $300 or $10/day ($5/day @ each ad)

8 We estimate up to 6 ads with the theory that running 4 ads in the beginning two weeks to test the top two performers. For the remainder of the month, we will refine the two top performering ads (refining the message, target, or reach, etc) and run them till the end of the campaign, adjusting parameters as needed. Since the minimum # of ads running at any given time will be two, we recommend the minimum ad-spend for the month to be $300 or $10/day ($5/day @ each ad)
